"Made in China 2025" pointed out that intelligent manufacturing will become the main direction of China's manufacturing. It is worth affirming that in recent years, China's textile industry has made gratifying achievements in intelligent manufacturing.

Intelligent manufacturing is the trend

With the continuous increase of labor costs, the demand for automation and intelligence of textile enterprises is becoming more and more urgent. In this context, intelligent manufacturing is becoming a breakthrough and focus of a new round of transformation and upgrading in the industry.

From the ITMA ASIA CITME 2016, it can be seen that the exhibition equipment has been greatly improved in terms of automation and intelligence. For example, the sizing machines on display in 2016 Textile Machinery Exhibition have applied a large number of Internet technology, cloud technology, information processing and other technologies to improve the intelligent level of equipment. In addition to displaying automatic single machines, Japan's Tsudakoma Company also made a three-dimensional animation simulation display of the intelligent weaving workshop for sizing and weaving processes.

For example, the automatic warp connection equipment, which has attracted much attention, not only uses a large number of non-contact optical detection technology to realize automatic warp connection without skeins, but also adapts to the requirements of complex technologies such as color yarn management and warp connection. At the same time, the man-machine interface and management software have also been improved, providing a good equipment foundation for the modern production and management of weaving workshops.

Intelligent is changing the traditional production

In fact, intelligent technology is transforming the traditional textile industry, and some enterprises have begun to try the intelligence of some manufacturing links.

Although some companies have not replaced or newly upgraded complete sets of equipment with a high degree of automation on a large scale, they have also significantly improved product quality and production efficiency through equipment upgrades in key links.

Forward and Thinking of Intelligent Manufacturing

To a certain extent, the intelligent equipment has solved the problem of insufficient labor and improved the competitiveness of China's textile industry. However, in the process of developing intelligence, there are still some problems, which are worthy of industry thinking and discussion.

On the one hand, many entrepreneurs believe that the current simple machine substitution in the textile industry is not intelligent manufacturing, the real sense of intelligent manufacturing is to use big data accurate calculation and judgment instead of human brain decision-making, and such investment as machine substitution for the textile industry is debatable. A series of costs such as machine investment, maintenance, and upgrades are not low. Whether textile companies can digest such expensive investment is also a problem that cannot be ignored.

On the other hand, as a labor-intensive industry, intelligence can stimulate local investment and promote industrial upgrading on the one hand, and on the other hand, it means that a large number of workers may lose their jobs. How to solve the contradiction between the two is worth further discussion.

For intelligence, the current government-level guidance includes the following four points: establishing a demonstration zone; improving intelligent manufacturing standards; promoting intelligent manufacturing supplier alliances; developing the Internet, big data and artificial intelligence.

The intelligence of the textile industry has achieved some gratifying results. At the level of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, from 2015 to 2017, a total of 12 projects were included in the ''Intelligent Manufacturing Pilot Demonstration Projects'; from 2016 to 2017, a total of 6 projects were included Intelligent manufacturing comprehensive standardization projects; 10 projects were included in the application projects of new intelligent manufacturing models.
